7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Yep, I guessed it. This was a story-based episode. I'll give a recap in 30 minute increments.
7:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
-The show starts off with Chloe finding out about Milo's and Nadia's password sharing. They get into a little argument, but it boils down to nothing.
-The V.P. orders an ariel attack on the middle east. The V.P. says that he wants to come out and send Fayed's people a message, but Tom objects. The V.P. doesn't listen, and continues on with his plan.
-Buchanon asks Chloe what countries are on Fayed's target list. They narrow it down to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and San Fransisco. Buchanon orders emergency response units to those three cities.
-Jack has a conversation with Marylin. Marylin tries to kiss Jack, but he refuses. He says he is waiting for Audrey to return. Marylin the proceeds to tell Jack that Audrey is dead. She died looking for him in China a few months before Jack's return to the States.
-The V.P. has a meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and talks about his plan. Many people try to change his mind, especially Karen, but he won't listen. It seems that the V.P. will get what he wants since Wayne is still in the hospital.
7:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
-Milo questions Chloe about Morris. Morris has not been drinking.
-Karen wants to form an alliance with Tom, but Tom won't budge.
-Chloe realizes that there is a leak in CTU. Someone is giving info to an outside source. Doyle comes in, and tells CTU to surrender Nadia based on the fact that she is Muslim. Milo calls the people racsist, but the Chloe tells everyone Nadia is in fact the traitor.
-Doyle is ready to torture Nadia, but Milo breaks it up. Nadia tells Milo to get out of her business.
-Jack brings up the theme of "Dying for nothing" when talking to Buchanon about Audrey's death. Jack wants revenge on the Chinese.
-Jack and Doyle infiltrate the base where the drone is being controlled. Jack get's in, shoots some guys, and realizes the drones target is San Fransisco.
-Jack calls CTU and tells him how to control the drone. He turns it away from the city with 10 seconds left, but then he needs a safe place to land the drone. He lands it on a nearby runway. It is a terrible landing, but somehow it doesn't explode. We do see it burning, so we expect it to release some radioactive material, but a small amount.
-The V.P. still views this as a widespread attack, and wants to continue his bombing. The V.P. is incredibly annoying and has no idea how to run a country.
Overall: It was a story episode, but it had some interesting stuff in it and there was some action at the end.. I give it a 77 out of 100.
